You should wear loose-fitting or baggy clothes for your massage therapy session. In Some cases, a patient might have to undress completely for the therapy, and in others, they do not have to at all. Your massage therapist should evaluate touch to locate painful or affected areas and to understand the amount of pressure required.
Your massage therapist can use oil or lotion, depending on your preference, to reduce friction on your skin. You must inform the therapist about your allergies, if any, before starting the therapy.

If your massage therapist is pushing too hard, ask them to apply a little less pressure. At times you can have a sensitive spot in a muscle that feels like a knot. You may feel uncomfortable while your therapist is working on you. Feel free to point it out to your therapist if it gets to the point of discomfort.
